Holotropic Breathwork Therapist Workshop

Altered states of consciousness cover transpersonal experiences that involve an expansion of consciousness beyond the limits of time and space. Altered states of consciousness allow us to answer the questions of who we really are and why we are here. Holotropic therapy has been practiced by psychologists as a way to produce an altered state of consciousness without drugs. This is done with hyperventilation making an individual to take a deep and rapid breath for several minutes. Holotropic breathwork therapy was created by psychiatrists and psychologists in order to conduct self-exploration and self-healing, It is a simple yet powerful technique based on combined insights from modern consciousness research, depth psychology and perennial spiritual practices. The method activates non-ordinary states of consciousness which mobilize the spontaneous healing potential of the psyche. Sustained effective breathing, evocative music, focused energy work and mandala drawing are components of this subjective journey.

During this workshop, you will learn the power of altered state of consciousness and how holotropic therapy can help your patients to reach these states.

The cost of the workshop is $100 and includes 8 hrs of on hands training and therapist training materials. A 20 hrs certificate from the Institute of Consciousness and Transpersonal Psychology will be issued. The next workshop is given July 23 2022 from 10 am to 6:00 PM.

Course is facilitated by Raul Valverde PhD (Psychology), he is certified in Transpersonal Psychotherapy by the European Transpersonal Association and is member of the Canadian Psychological Association and ANPQ.
